Remote IT Support Services is the newest extension of Cybernetic Networks, a long-established company based in Naples, FL with over 15 years of experience in the IT services industry.
This family-run venture was the brainchild of Himala Gamage, a Computer Systems Design graduate from the National Institute of Business Management, Sri Lanka and computing savant who got his start dabbling with hardware and software when he was only in the 8th grade. Together with an entrepreneurial colleague, he founded a successful chain of internet cafes and later an in-demand IT support business before relocating to the United States.
Now, together with his wife and current Cybernetic Networks President, Dr. Sirani K. M. Perera, a leading mind at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and holder of a Ph.D., MASt, and BSc in Computational applied mathematics from top universities around the world, the idea to develop a completely new kind of IT service experience was born.
With over 300 clients served and a retention rate close to 90%* (for clients who were previously new to managed IT services), Himala and Sirani understood that a wide gap existed between the emerging needs of a new generation of small and medium-sized business owners and the limited, reactionary services of traditional IT companies. Their competitors would only offer temporary fixes when things were already broken rather than put in the work to keep IT assets healthy and well-managed through time, which was an expensive and short-sighted way of thinking. By developing Remote IT Support Services, this visionary couple decided to disrupt the status quo in a remarkable way.
